Mr. Nix was the son of Mr. and Mrs. J.E. Nix. Surviving are his wife, Geneva Baker Nix of Houston; son, Wayne Nix of Houston; daughter, Earlleane Scott of Houston; brother, Norris Nix of Campbell and Elvin Nix of Sweetwater; and sisters, Clotell Doyle of Dallas and Lucille Thompson of New Boston. Coker-Mathews Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
