Place of death from WA death index. ∼ Thelma Irene Garrison of Renton, Wash., died of cancer July 22, 1996 at Valley Medical Center. She was 81. She was born April 25, 1915 in Manville, Wyo., the daughter of Arthur and Effie Willoughby. As a small child she and her family moved to North Loup, Neb. She graduated from North Loup High School and attended beauty school in Grand Island. She married Logan D. Garrison on March 14, 1937 in Grand Island. They lived in Worland, Wyo., before moving to Renton, Wash., in 1942. Her activities included bowling, fashion modeling, flower gardening, crocheting, knitting and macrame. In later years she shared her husband's interest in thoroughbred horse breeding and racing. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Terry Lee Garrison of Enumclaw, Wash.; a sister, Cecile Beran of Lincoln, Nebr.; a grandson and two step-granddaughters. A memorial service was held July 26 at Faull-Stokes Mortuary in Renton, Wash., followed by inurnment at Greenwood Memorial Park in Renton. The Ord Quiz (Ord, NE) - Aug 15 1996, Pg 8A, Col 3
