Bio

The cemetery photo used in this memorial is representative of many cemeteries for which there are no known names. This particular cemetery, however, is a known cemetery. It is known as the Thomas Cemetery. (There are two Thomas Cemeteries in Sevier County) It is located on Happy Creek Road in Seymore, Sevier County, Tennessee. It is located on a hill about 100 to 150 feet uphill behind the home of John Thomas Clark and wife Francis L. Clark. (Their daughter Annie, who died at a young age, is buried in this cemetery.) The oldest son and daughter-in-law of Diana Harper Thomas and William 'Billy' Clark. The home was later passed down to Charlie Lemus Clark the youngest son of John and Francis. It seems possible that the home and property may have at one time belonged to the Thomas family before being possibly passed to William 'Billy' and Diana Harper Thomas-Clark. Since many stones at the cemetery are completely unreadable due to age and weather there is no way to document who is buried there except fro the few readable stones. The locations of Diana and William Clark's burial are unknown it is possible they are buried here.
