Agee Ashley (16754771) Suggested edit: Agee Ashley April 17, 1926 - October 22, 2010 In Memory of Agee Ashley: AGEE ASHLEY of Wilmer, TX passed away peacefully in her home on October 22, 2010. She was born April 17, 1926 in Malvern, AR to Henry P. Cates and Edith Shinn Cates. In 1957 she moved with her daughter and son to Kemah, TX where she met and married Charles Ashley, a devoted husband and caring step-father who predeceased her in 1999. They moved to Lancaster in 1958. For the many fortunate to pass her way, she never met a stranger. Many of her closest friends were the traveling companions who shared the fun and adventures of their many world-girdling travels. She spent countless hours with her numerous crafts and needlework projects, and lovingly shared them with her many friends and family. She is survived by daughter Olene Ward of Wilmer, son Melvin McDonald & wife Jane of Dallas, Grandchildren - Mason Ward & wife Gloria of Frisco, Roger Ward & wife Katherine of Longview, and Elise & Lyle McDonald of Dallas, and Great-grandchildren - Trent & Troy Ward of Longview, and Kendall & Caden Ward of Frisco. The oldest of five siblings, she is survived and predeceased by a large family in central Arkansas.
