s/o James Edwin Aldridge, Minnie Merle Thompson Former minister of New Horizon Baptist Church He graduated from Atlanta High School and later earned a bachelor's degree from East Texas Baptist University. James also received a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. James became a licensed minister at the age of 16 at First Baptist Church in Atlanta, Texas. He began pastoring churches when he was a college student and continued until retiring earlier this year. James pastored churches all across the state of Texas for 50 years.
