Son of Ed & Frances (Nekuda) Stepanek. Married to Rita D. Knapik on 10-30-1951 at St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church at St. Paul, NE. US Army Veteran. He formed the Leonard Stepanek Orchestra in the early 1940s and performed throughout the years to the 1980s.
