Father: WIlliam Kirkpatrick- Iowa Mother: Mary Jane Collins- Iowa Phoenix Arizona Republic 1961 Mr. and Mrs. Charles R. Denny will celebrate their golden wedding anniversary July 2 with open house at their home, 3434 E. Bell. The Dennys married in Fort Collins, Colo. They came to Arizona 23 years ago from Idaho where Denny owned and operated Rocky Mountain Amusements. The show toured Idaho, Montana and the Midwest. For the past five years, Denny has operated midway rides during the Arizona State Fair. Denny, 71 is past president of the Showman's Club of Phoenix, of which he is a lifetime member. Mrs. Denny, 69, is a member of the Royal Neighbors Lodge. The Dennys have a son, Charles, 1721 W. Chipman Road; four daughters, Mrs. A. W. Bauer, 14 S. 31st Ave., Mrs. W.C. Barnhart 6440 S. Fifth Ave., Mrs. P.E. Alfier, 1522 E. Garfield, and Mrs. W. C. McClendon, 2135 W. Mariposa; 20 grandchildren, all of Phoenix
