Edith Gwendolyn Lankford Moore November 03, 1923 - July 22, 2016 Mrs. Edith Lankford Moore, 92 of Big Spring, formerly of Roby passed away on Friday, July 22, 2016 in Big Spring, TX. Funeral Service for Mrs. Lankford-Moore will be held on Monday, July 25, 2016 , at 2:00 PM at Roby First Baptist Church with Reverend Jerry Vincent officiating. Internment will follow at Snyder Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home. Mrs. Lankford Moore was born on November 03, 1923 in Snyder, TX to Edgar and Gladys(Henley) Eades. She married Lenard C. Lankford on September 22, 1945 in Snyder, TX. He preceded her in death on October 4, 1994. She married Garland Moore on January 14, 2005 in Roby, Tx. He preceded her in death on August 01, 2008. Mrs. Lankford Moore was a 1941 graduate of Ira I.S.D.. She worked in the Roby I.S.D. and a subsequent Manager of the Lunch Room and was a bus driver for 27+ years and was a resident of Fisher County and a member of the the Roby First Baptist Church for 56 years. She was a member of the Fisher County Senior Center and never missed a Skip-Bo game. She enjoyed singing in the choir, playing the piano, sewing, crocheting, working in the garden and loved to travel. She is survived by: Son: Cecil Lankford and wife Dorothy, Snyder, TX 4) Daughters: Joy Brown, Sweetwater, TX Sherry Barnes and husband Steve, Tomball, TX Donna Nehring and husband Doug, Big Spring, TX Brenda Griffin and husband Merle, Snyder, TX Step Son: Billy Mack Moore and wife Mary, Huntsville, TX 2) Step Daughters: Linda Anne Lanning and husband Lee, formerly of Roby, TX Brenda Moore, OK (Do not have a city) 16) Grandchildren 16) Step Grandchildren 39) Great Grandchildren 6) Step Great Grandchildren numerous Great Great Grandchildren and Step Great Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husbands, Daughter, Norma Jean Lankford May; Grandson, Little Jimmy Brown; 2 Granddaughters, Judy Lankford Pyland and Marcie Denise Brown Dent; Great Grand Son, Jon Don Grimmitt; and Brother, John William Eades.
