Loyd Lynn Kirby Jr., a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2016. Funeral Service: 2 p.m. Saturday, July 23, at Clayton Kay-Vaughan Chapel in Alvarado. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Friday. Loyd was born January 10, 1944 and spent his life in the surrounding area. He married Vickie Scogin on September 6, 1969 and immediately became a proud, loving father of Vickie’s daughter, Lisa. Loyd and Vickie had their youngest daughter, D’Arcy a year later. He was a good, hard working man that believed that hard work was actually fun. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Louise. Loyd is survived by his loving wife, Vickie Kirby; daughters, Lisa Randall and husband, Ronny, and D’Arcy Warrick and husband, Devin; 5 grandsons, William Lynn Randall, Joseph Frank Randall, Daniel Troyce Randall, Austin Charles Loyd Scheffel, Benjamin Lane Scheffel; 5 great grandsons; 3 great granddaughters; 4 sisters, Lois Devoss, Mary "Sissy" Eggleston, Shirley Bishop, Kathy Boone; 1 brother, Richard Kirby; 2 devoted dogs, Little Boy and Little Girl, and numerous friends.
