Bio

Son of Thomas Everett Dwyre and Margaret B. Carter. He married first to Ammiria B. Woolford in 1847. They were the parents of four: Thomas A., Margaret, George, and Robert Dwyre. After his wife's death, John remarried in 1881 to Nancy Koons-Caldwell. He served during the Civil War in Co C, Southern Border Brigade, Union Army
