Lawrence Joseph Tajchman, 62, Wichita, died Dec. 8, 2002. Born July 13, 1940, at Pilsen, he was the son of John J. and Elizabeth (Srajer) Tajchman. He was retired as KGE plant operations employee. Survivors include his wife, Jean; son and daughter-in-law Dan and Misty Tajchman of Wichita; son and partner Michael Tajchman and Jeff Edwards of Chicago, Ill.; daughter and son-in-law Kristine and Kevin Stroff of New Jersey; stepchildren and spouses Terry and Tara Ellis of Springfield, Mo., Kathy and Bob Fischer, Michael and Ginger Ellis of Wichita; and six grandchildren. Services were held Thursday morning at Downing-Lahey Mortuary West in Wichita. Graveside services were held that afternoon in the Pilsen Cemetery A memorial has been established in his name at Sedgwick County Zoo. -->
