Leriene L Aarland, 87, of Caldwell, died Thursday, July 14, 2016, of natural causes. Funeral Home: Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. Published in Idaho Press Tribune from July 17 to July 22, 2016 - - - - - - - - Leriene Lucille Aarland, 87, of Caldwell, was born November 9, 1928 to Rex and Agnes (Sally) Clayton in Sargent, Nebraska. Leriene passed away on July 14, 2016 in Caldwell, Idaho of natural causes. She is survived by her brother Bob Clayton of Nampa, Idaho; daughter, Deb Hardy of Atlanta, Idaho; granddaughter, Anna Bree Florenzen of Kuna, Idaho; and great granddaughters, Sadie and Mateo. On June 3, 1948 Leriene married Lars Aarland of Wilder. They made their home in Caldwell, where they raised their family. Leriene was a good homemaker; she also worked as a bookkeeper for several local businesses. Leriene was active in the community as a Jay-Cette, Lady Elk and member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority since 1972. She loved the outdoors, her family, her sorority sisters and spending time socializing at the local Elks Lodge. She was a great wife, loving mother and friend. She will be missed. Graveside service will be held at Canyon Hill Cemetery on Monday, July 25th at 1:00 p.m., under the direction of Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell
