Fort Bend Herald, September 9, 2015: Ronnie G. Bohacek, 60, passed away Sunday, September 6, 2015, in Houston. He was born January 5, 1955 in East Bernard to George Jerome Bohacek, Sr. and Lydia Marie Knesek Bohacek. Ronnie was of the Catholic faith and was a retired welder. His passions were handling his cattle, checking hog traps, bailing hay, hunting and fishing, but most of all was the love he had for his grandson, Landon. They were inseparable because they were partners in crime. Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Shirley Dobesh Bohacek; 2 daughters, Megan Todish, husband, Tim, and grandson, Landon Todish, Amanda Bohacek; 3 brothers, George Bohacek, Jr. and wife, Jannie, Vernon Bohacek and wife, Kellye, Kenneth Bohacek and wife, Shelia. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. A rosary and memorial service will be held Thursday afternoon beginning at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel at Davis Greenlawn Funeral Home.
