Ernest S. Haba October 02, 1951 - March 15, 2016 Ernest “Ernie” Haba 64, passed away in Dallas Tuesday, March 15 2016. Ernest was born October 2, 1951 to Stanley and Adele (Vrana) Haba in Ennis, Texas. He attended St. John's and Ennis schools. He married Gloria Silvers in November 1970 and remained together until her death in 2012. Ernest worked for Ennis Business Forms before a disability forced him to stay home and help raise two young boys. Taking care of his dogs and enjoying his coffee and listening to music were some of his favorite times of his day. Going to the park with his grandchildren to feed the ducks was a most fulfilling activity. He is survived by two sons: Ernie Haba and wife Karen of Red Oak, and Michael Haba and wife, Robyn of Longview, TX,; grandchildren include, Matt, John and Luke Haba of Red Oak, and Kaylin , Kade and Kinley Haba of Longview; great-grandchildren are Trinity and Kinsley Haba of Red Oak. He is also survived by sister, Nancy Haba of Ennis; brother, Stanley Haba of Ennis, and mother, Adele Haba of Ennis. He is preceded in death by his father Stanley Haba , and wife Gloria Haba of 42 years. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 9 a.m. until 10a.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis. A Celebration of his live will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 19, 2016 in the J. E. Keever Mortuary Chapel.
