Herald Coaster, October 31, 2012: Eleanor Frances Muskiet , age 87, of Houston, Texas, died Sunday, October 28, 2012. She was born on June 20, 1925 in Sealy, Texas to John and Frances (Stastny) Muskiet. Eleanor is survived by her brother, Lawrence Muskiet and wife, Ida, of Bay City, and her sister, Anita Sturm (Ray Sturm, deceased) of Brookshire. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and two great-great-nephews. Eleanor was so proud of all of them and loved to talk about them. At the age of sixteen, Eleanor went to work for FMC Technologies in the accounts payable department where she worked 40 plus years until her retirement. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 1, from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m., with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Pat H. Foley & Co, 1200 West 34th Street, Houston, TX. Services will be held on Friday, November 2, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 3600 Brinkman, Houston, TX. Pallbearers will be Mike Muskiet, John Muskiet, Gerald Sturm, Justin Sturm, Kevin Sturm, Heath Crain, and Tom Jones. In lieu of flowers, donations in Eleanor's memory may be made to the American Heart Association or donor's choice. Condolences may be expressed at www.pathfoleyfuneraldirectors.com.
