Enid News and Eagle November 8, 2006 EMMA L. GABRIEL A graveside service for Emma L. "Joyce" Gabriel, 80, of Enid, will be Thursday in Enid Cemetery. The Rev. David Burrows will officiate. Arrangements are by Brown-Cummings Funeral Home. She was born June 5, 1926, in Piedmont to George and Eva Fischer Biby and died Friday, Nov. 3, 2006, at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center. She attended Piedmont High School. She married Alfred Gabriel April 15, 1942, after moving to Kingfisher. She moved to Enid in 1956, where she worked at Enid State School, White Way Café and Foe's Grill. She owned and operated R&R; Bar. Surviving are three sons, George Gabriel, John Gabriel and Mark Gabriel, all of Enid; three daughters, Vicki Gabriel, Avis Buller and Rae Ann Dehdezi, all of Enid; one sister, Opal Dodd of Cashion; 19 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by one son, two daughters, two brothers and one sister. Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, lung division.
