Published in The Paducah Sun, Paducah, McCracken Co., Ky., 10 Jul 2010 - ARLINGTON — Wanda Darlene Barron Mix, 81, of Arlington passed away at 8:14 p.m. on Thursday, July 8, 2010, at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah. Mrs. Mix was a member of First Baptist Church in Arlington, where she taught Sunday School and worked in the nursery. She worked for Dr. Jackson and Dr. Canty in Clinton as a dental assistant. She is survived by her son, Mike Mix; one granddaughter; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, M.H. Mix; parents, R.D. and Elizabeth Boyd Barron; one sister; and four brothers. Funeral services for Wanda Mix will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 11, 2010, at the Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Arlington with Revs. Ray Provow and Shane O’Guin officiating. Burial will follow at the Arlington Cemetery.
