Robert L. "Bob" Dana, 83, of Temple, passed away Monday, July 4, 2016, at a local hospital. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, July 8, 2016, at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, July 9, 2016, at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home with Steve Lane officiating. Burial will follow in Seaton Cemetery. Bob was born in Temple, Texas, to the late Jerry Dana and Otilie Motl Dana. He attended schools in Temple and graduated from Temple High School. He attended Tarleton State College before entering the U.S. Army, serving honorably until being discharged. He married Ruby Springman and lived all of his life in Temple. He owned Bob’s Burgers in Heidenheimer, was a supervisor at Wilsonart, was a farmer/rancher, and later, retired as a truck driver. He was preceded in death by his brother, Joe Dana. Survivors include his wife, Ruby Dana, of Temple; daughter, Tiann Dana, of Frisco; son, Tim Dana, of Temple; sister, Ann Repka, of DeSoto; other relatives and many friends. F22
