Timothy L. "Cups" Dodge, age 72, of North Bend, NE., passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at Birchwood Manor in North Bend. Tim was born June 13, 1944 in North Bend, NE., to Leonard and Fern (Blankenberg) Dodge. Tim was a life long resident of North Bend. He graduated from North Bend High School. He was a well driller for Grosch Irrigation. Tim was a 36 year member of the North Bend Fire Department and former Fire Chief. He was a 27 year member of the Nebraska State Fire School Committee and past president of the Nebraska State Volunteer Firefighter Association. Survivors include, Karan Legler of Morse Bluff; sons, Leonard (Donna) Dodge of Fremont, NE, Donald (Jessica) Dodge of Oakland, NE.; daughters, Monica (Mike) Tesch of Omaha, NE and Katey Dodge and John Price of Lincoln, NE; brother, Jim (Sue) Dodge of North Bend, NE.; sisters, Marcia Allington of Indianapolis, IN and Nancy (Jim) Carley of Long Pine, NE. Preceded in death by parents; sister, Marilyn Dodge and brother-in-law, Brad Senden. A memorial service will be held 1:00 PM, Sunday, July 10, 2016 at the North Bend Fire Hall in North Bend, NE. Chaplin James Jost will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the North Bend Fire Department. Moser Memorial Chapel, 1040 N. Main, North Bend, NE. 402-721-4490
