Helen was born May 27, 1895 in Nebraska to parents who came from Germany. In 1920, she was single, working as an office stenographer, and lodging in Omaha on Cuming Street. She was a high school graduate. The 1920 US Census lists: Soren A. Johnson, 27, head, ass't cashier bank Eleanore E. Johnson, 23, wife Arthur F. Johnson, 3 months, son Helen P. Frohner, 24, lodger, stenographer, office Margaret Dunn, lodger, all else unknown By 1935, Helen was married to Joseph Bede Beveridge, and the family was living at 5649 Poppleton, Omaha, Nebraska. The 1940 US Census lists: Joseph B. Beveridge, 46, supervisor,railway mail Helen Beveridge, 44, wife James Beveridge, 17, son Joseph Beveridge, 15, son Joseph F.
