Bio
Services for Mrs. Catherine “Granny” Bond, age 81, of Hattiesburg, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 2, 2016, at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Hattiesburg, with Bro. Alan McCullough officiating. Burial will follow in the Midway Baptist Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Garrett Bond, Corey Bond, Kable Wedgeworth, Keith Bond, Travis Bond and Brandon Bond. Honorary pallbearers will be Walter bond, Mitchell Bond, Bryan Bond, Nathan Bond and Jamie McCraney. Mrs. Bond was a faithful member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and co-owner of Lake Serene Grocery for 39 years. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, A. J. Bond. Visitation for Mrs. Bond will be held from 9:00 until 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Emmanuel Baptist Church. Jones & Son Funeral Home at Hattiesburg is in charge of arrangements.
