Bio

"Dennis Lee Houser, 60, of Schuyler died Monday, March 29, 1999, at Alegent Health Memorial Hospital in Schuyler. Services are 1 p.m. Thursday at Kracl Funeral Chapel in Schuyler with the Rev. Terry Graham officiating. Burial is at a later date following cremation. There will be closed casket visitation Thursday from 9 a.m. until time of service at the chapel. Mr. Houser was born June 6, 1938, in Columbus to Albert and Roxie (Fouts) Houser. He graduated from Columbus High School in 1955 and served in the U.S. Navy from 1956-62. He married Joyce Lockner on Aug. 31, 1991, in Schuyler. He worked as a chef and also at Dale Electronics in Columbus. Survivors include his wife; one stepson, Ryan Lockner and special friend, Mary Cudaback, both of Columbus; one brother, Merlyn of Columbus; one sister, Gaylene Graham of Columbus; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother, Leland; and his parents. Memorials may be directed to the donors' choice." Platte County, Nebraska, Genealogical Society.
