Married to Edward Charles Guthmann on June 22, 1904 Grand Island, Hall Co., Nebraska Sister of: Walter, William Death of Mrs. Guthmann Mrs. Stella Guthmann, wife of an employee of the shops, residing at Locust and West Koenig, died last night of peritonitis. Ms. Guthmann was the daughter of Mrs. McDowell, and a niece of Mr. Fred Roth. Her mother is in Europe at present and the sad news will be a severe shock to her, she having known nothing of the sickness, even, of the daughter. The deceased was most highly esteemed by many friends and the mourning husband, the two motherless children -- one of whom is but a few weeks old -- the mother and the other relatives, have the most heartfelt sympathy of the whole community. The funeral will take place Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock, from the Catholic church. GRAND ISLAND INDEPENDENT Friday, January 11, 1907 The funeral of Mrs. Stella Guthmann will take place at 2 o'clock from the Catholic church tomorrow afternoon. There will be no services at the house.
