Funeral services for Opal Marie Henry Stephens, 70 of Athens will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 25, 2016 at Hannigan Smith Funeral Home in Athens with Bro. Timothy Grant officiating. Ms. Stephens passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 in Athens. Opal Marie Baker Stephens was born in Bonham on Sept. 4, 1945, the daughter of Virgil C. Baker and Lora Mae Nipp Badarracco. She was a member of Hopewell Community Church in Chatfield and will be missed by everyone she knew and loved. Marie enjoyed working outdoors in her garden and loved her summer vacations.
