Bio

Linda Louise (Fojtik) Faltesek of Taylor went to her heavenly home on June 18, 2016 at the age of 64. Linda was born in Taylor on December 30, 1951. On August 25, 1973 Linda was united in marriage with Jerry Wayne Faltesek. One of her brightest moments in life was the birth of her and Jerry's children, Lorrie and Brian. She was a member of the Taylor Brethren Church. Linda was preceded in death by her father and mother, Albert and Doris Fojtik; and her brother, Michael Fojtik. Survivors include her husband, Jerry; son, Brian; daughter; Lorrie and husband, Shane; grandsons, Cole and Justin; sister, Delores Anderson; plus many nieces, nephews, and brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, who were all close to her heart. Linda was a homemaker most of her married life with Jerry, which she took very seriously. Her top priority was making sure her family was taken care of. She enjoyed cooking and always had a love of flowers. She always stopped to smell the roses. Linda's two grandsons were the light of her life. There wasn't a moment she wasn't talking about them. The many family vacations and get to togethers were very special memories she often reflected on. Please join us in celebrating Linda's life. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, June 23, 2016 at the Taylor Providence Funeral Home, 807 Carlos Parker Blvd NW, Taylor, TX 76574. Funeral services will be at 10 AM Friday, June 24, 2016 at the Taylor Brethren Church, 710 W. Sloan St, Taylor, TX 76574 with Rev. James Hejl officiating. Burial will follow at the Taylor City Cemetery. Pallbearers are: Larry Kotrla, Eddie Kotrla, Randy Faltesek, Gary Faltesek, Mark Faltesek, Danny Faltesek, Jody Bracewell and Jeff Bracewell. Honorary pallbearers are: Gary Eiben, Dwight Blahuta, Glenn Anderson, Cole Mathey and Justin Mathey. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Taylor Brethren Church. We'd like to give thanks and send our love to all our family and friends. Your kind, loving words of encouragement and thoughts and prayers are and will continue to give us strength.
