Bio

Buddy Ferguson Died In Mobile L. W. (Buddy) Ferguson, 59, prominent Little River merchant, died June 10 in a Mobile hospital after a short illness. He had been a life-long resident of Little River. Funeral services were held June 11 at Little River Methodist Church,Rev. Hugh Collins and Lambert Mims officiating. Burial was in Old Blacksher Cemetery, Johnson Funeral Home of Atmore directing. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sarah P. Ferguson; three sons, A. W. Ferguson, Mobile; Robert Ferguson, Atmore, and Spencer Ferguson, Little River; two daughters, Mrs. Irene Mims, Uriah, and Mrs. Betty Jones, Bay Minette, and two sisters, Mrs. P. B. McConnell, Sr., Little River, and Mrs. H. V. Harrell, Stapleton. Published June 18, 1964
