Bio

Lenard Scarborough 1941 ~ 2016 Lenard Scarborough passed away peacefully June 19th, 8:40pm at Forest General Hospital. In the words of his hero John Wayne "Courage is being scared to death but saddling up anyway" and he did to fight cancer as well as any cowboy hero could. Our hearts are heavy as he rides away to heaven. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Scarborough and Emma Jane Smith; and his brothers and sisters Ethel, Otis, Ella Mae, Ilena, Bernice, and William Thomas Scarborough. He is survived by and Husband to Cathy Scarborough, Father to Kevin Scarborough and David Scarborough of Saucier, MS. and Daddy to Alice Pankey, Carolyn Morton, Lanya Ourso, Ashley Roebuck then several grandchildren and was known as Pop, Daddy or Pawpaw to countless. He is also survived by his Sister Jewel Ison of Perkinston, MS. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport with a visitation for family and friends beginning at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Rouse Cemetery.
