ARNOLD SENTINEL Mar. 9, 1944----Cora Elizabeth Fox, third daughter of Edgar and Mary E. Fox, Mrs. Sheets was born February 19, 1869, Butler County, Iowa, and died March 2, 1944, at the age of 75 years, 1 month, and 12 days. She married Harris E. Stephens on March 5, 1890 at David City, Nebraska, and four children were born to this union, Ernest Stephens, North Platte; Roy E. Stephens, Litchfield; Ira E. Stephens, Greeley; and Mary O. Pinkston, Arnold. In March, 1902, she was married to George Sheets, and in 1916 moved with her family to Arnold. Three children were born to this union: George L. Sheets, Arnold; Sherman F. Sheets, North Platte; and Cora who died in infancy. She is also survived by one sister, Mrs. France From, Rising City ; one adoptd brother, Lester Fox, Rising City; 21 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
