Wellington Amlin, 84, of Ontario passed away Monday, Nov. 10, 2008 at a Boise hospital Wellington (Whimpy) was born Dec. 2, 1923 at Ector, Texas, the third child of Elbert and Mavis Amlin. He married Mattie Lee Kincaid (Mildred/Millie) March 6, 1947. Survivors include his wife, also a daughter, Ann Ramey, of Arizona with children and grandchildren, a sister Helen Grist of Meridian, Idaho along with many nieces/nephews, and a multitude of friends. He made friends easily and touched people's hearts everywhere he went. Those who knew Whimpy knew of his love for his God Jehovah and how dedicated he was to live according to Bible principles, sharing Bible truths at every opportunity. Memorial services will be conducted at 5 p.m. Saturday, November 15 at the Ontario Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1746 N.W. 4th Ave, Ontario, Ore.
