Jack Maynard Belville Jack Maynard Belville, 86, 0f Calvert, TX, passed away on Friday, June 10, 2016. He was born in Waco, TX. On August 25, 1929. He leaves behind his wife of 52 years, Jerry Ann Belville of Calvert, TX., his son, Keith Maynard Belville of Waco, TX., his daughter and son-in-law Lisa Ann and George Woitena of Santa Fe, TX., granddaughter Leigh Ann Woitena of Santa Fe, TX. In 1952 Jack Joined the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War where he served for four years. While there he participated in the sport of boxing and became a Golden Glove champion. After his enlistment was over he spent 34 years at Monsanto Chemical Co. in Texas City as a boilermaker. It was during this time that he trained and showed reining and cutting horses for 35 years. After he retired from Monsanto Chemical Co. and gave up his horses he moved to Robertson Co. and became a cattle rancher spending 23 years at his home in Calvert, TX, until his death. Services for Jack will be Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 1:00pm at Memorial Funeral Home in Hearne, TX, with viewing on Friday, June 17, 2016 from 4-6 pm. Interment will be at Sunny Side Cemetery in Calvert, TX, with full military honors. Jun 14 2016 Galveston Daily News
