Graveside funeral services for Minnie Mae Jones, 94, formerly of the Nolan community near Sweetwater, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday. They will be at Slater's Chapel Cemetery in Nolan with the Rev. Melvin Byrd of Wingate officiating. McCoy Funeral Home has charge of arrangements. A native of Vernon, she lived in the Nolan area until 1976. She was a member of Nolan Baptist Church. Mrs. Jones died Monday at an Arlington hospital. Her husband, Grady Jones, died in 1976. Survivors include a son, Malcom Jones of Arlington; a sister, Myrtle Vineyard of Littlefield; and several nieces and nephews.
