David Wayne Caldwell, 49, of Lott, Texas, died Thursday, November 2, 2006, at a Waco hospital. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, November 6, at the Gatesville United Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Ron Johnson and the Rev. Bobby Collier officiating. Burial will follow in Ater Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m., at Gatesville Funeral Home. Survivors include his sisters, Wanda Delong, of Lott, Texas, and Dianna Steagall and husband, Richard, of Dayton, Texas; nephews, James Delong and wife, Melinda, of the Ater Community, and Bryan Steagall, of Dayton, Texas; great-nieces, Erica and Megan; and his dog, "My Boy" Rocky.
