Wright CountyMissouri, USA From Hartville, Mo., take 5 Hwy N to Grovespring, Mo., take AA Hwy 6 miles to the end of pavement. Take the left gravel road to Griffin Rd and turn right. Go quarter of a mile or about the second house with mailbox. House has wood fence posts, cattle guard and metal gate. Dirt road will lead to cemetery on right. Fenced in but overgrown. Francis Marion was born November 3, 1839. He was married three times. His first wifewas Lucinda J. Moore. Their two children were Alexander Lafayette and Emmarilar.Emmarilar lived with her grandparents most of her young life. She was born in Arkansasand the date of her birth was recorded in Elijah's Bible as March 6, 1867. FrancisMarion's second wife was Adaline Casey. Their children: Elijah L., Manda, James,Marion, Rosa, Walter and Charles. His third wife was Elizabeth Giesler. They becamethe parents of one daughter, Ada. Francis marion was buried in the Mt. Zion No. 3"Cuba" Cemetery.
