Bio
Daughter of Phillip H. & Augusta (Vollmer) Dietz. She attended grade school in Columbus and Immanuel Lutheran School through the 8th grade. Mildred graduated from Kramer High School in 1925. She went to work for Politis Brothers and then to Ragtz Grocery Store as an assistant book keeper. Mildred later went to work in the office of Schwesers and Blue Bird. On November 26, 1943, Mildred married Lester Korte in Lincoln, Nebraska. Mildred was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church where she was also confirmed. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, baking, gardening, bowling, and taking walks. Mildred is survived by: Daughter - June (Jack) Bartholomew of Columbus, NE Grandson - Mark Bartholomew Granddaughter - Sara Bartholomew Great Granddaughter - Caitlyn Bartholomew Great Granddaughter - Mariah Dubas Many Niece's & Nephew's Mildred was preceded in death by: Parents - Phillip & Augusta Dietz Husband - Lester Korte Sister - Lida Dietz Brother - Erwin Dietz Brother - Werner Dietz Brother - Elmer Dietz
