Married Veronica Vrla Ustenik on 6/16/1894 in Waxahachie, Texas at the courthouse by R N Haynes, Justice of the Peace. They had five sons: Frank, John, Joseph, Rudolph, and Charles and one daughter Annie. Francis was Veronica's daughter from a previous marriage to Jan Ustenik.
