married to John F Jurica
Born in Ellis Co. east of Ennis,Tx. Died in a Corsicana hospital. Daughter of Frank M. & Mary (Hubacek) Haskovec. Married Oct. 7, 1930 to John F. Jurica. Remarried Nov. 30, 1966 to Charles J. Vavra. P.S. I'm always unsure about some of these second marriages when they are buried by the first husband, she wasn't married to the second very long before her death. Requiem Mass for Mrs. Charles J. Vavra, who died Monday night, was celebrated at 10 a.m. today at St. John's Catholic Church with the Rev. Charles Haskovec of Denton as the celebrant. The Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. on Tuesday in the Keever Chapel. Interment was in St. Joseph's Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Johnnie Odlozil, Calvin Honza, Emil Holubar, Frank E. Jurica, Raymond Langer and Charles Vitovsky. Mrs. Vavra, formerly Clara Haskovec, was born January 9, 1915, in Ellis County, East of Ennis, the daughter of Frank M. and Mary Hubacek Haskovec. She was reared there and on October 7, 1930 was married to John F. Jurica of Ennis. Mr. Jurica passed away on February 1, 1965. On November 30, 1966 she was married to Charles J. Vavra of Ennis. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church and the C.Y.B.J. Sokol of Ennis. Surviving her are her husband, her mother Mrs. Mary Haskovec of Rt. 2, Ennis; two sisters, Mrs. Frank C. Holubar and Mrs. William Nekuza, both of Ennis. Ennis Weekly Local, Thursday, March 23, 1967
