Bio

Adeline Pecka, 92 of Wahoo, NE, formerly of Valparaiso, died on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at Saunders Care Center in Wahoo. She was born September 11, 1923 in rural Valparaiso, NE to John and Maude (Jakoubek) Truhlicka. She was married to Frank Pecka on September 8, 1941. This marriage was blessed with five children who were raised in and near Valparaiso. Adeline was a wonderful cook and homemaker and she loved her family dearly. Adeline had struggled with declining mobility with much courage and dignity. She is survived by children: Marlene (Doug) Saabye of East Aurora, NY, Donald (Alice) Pecka of Raymond, Duane (Lisa) Pecka of Valparaiso, Daniel (Barb) Pecka of Norfolk; son-in-law Robert Maly of Wilber; 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband Frank Pecka; daughter Rosalie Maly; parents, mother-in-law, and father-in-law; three brothers: Frank, Johnny, and John.
