Bio
Roy Lee Moore, 62, of Riesel, passed away Thursday, October 26, 2006, at a local hospital. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, October 29, at the funeral home. Services will be at 2 p.m., Monday, October 30, at Bellmead Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Thomas Roberson officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Waco. Roy Lee was born in Cleburne, Texas, to the late Wilmer Roy and Lucille (Cryer) Moore. He married Mary Koehler on October 2, 1963, in Ennis, Texas. He was a foreman at Big Creek Construction and a member of the Victory Tabernacle Church. Survivors include his wife, Mary, of Riesel; daughter, Robin Giles, of Eddy; son, Glenn Moore, of Oklahoma; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Thelma Busby, of Lancaster, and Cathy Stephenson, of Cleburne; brothers, Thomas Moore, of Winnsboro, Will Moore, of Mesquite, Raymond Moore, of Cleburne; and several nieces and nephews.
