Bio
Kent Earl Swensen 7/7/1943 ~ 5/1/2016 Our loving father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend, Kent Earl Swensen passed away May 1, 2016. He was born to Arthur LaVern Swensen and Ona Marie Shields in Salt Lake City, Utah. Kent was a Murray City Firefighter for 28 years. He was very talented at restoration of vintage gas pumps and also loved oil artifacts. He was passionate about race cars, both old and new. He enjoyed traveling with family and friends. He is survived by his sons, Wesley (Sherilyn) and Kevin; his brother, Jaren (Shirley); 4 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his twin sister, Karen Swensen. The family wishes to thank all of his superior caregivers, with a special thanks to Loyda Tovar's. Graveside services will be held Thursday, May 5, 2016, 1:00 p.m. at Murray City Cemetery, 5600 South Vine Street, Murray. Online condolences may be shared at www.jenkins-soffe.com.
