Rites Tuesday for Former Citizen Brief funeral services are to be held at the graveside at 3 p.m. tomorrow at the Divide cemetery for A.M. Fitzpatrick, formerly of Divide and Sweetwater, who died at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at his home in Sherman. The body is to arrive by train from Sherman and is to be borne directly to the cemetery, where the Rev. H.H. Black, rector of the St. Stephens Episcopal Church, is to be in charge of the brief service. Mr. Fitzpatrick, owner of a nursery on the east edge of Sweetwater on Highway 80, and part owner of a large nursery in Sherman, is the father of Mrs. Bolton Head of Sweetwater, who taught for a number of years in Sweetwater junior high and in John R. Lewis Elementary School. She was at her father's bedside at death, having spent much time in her parents' home during his last illness. Besides Mrs. Head, he was survived by his widow and one son, Capt. James Fitzpatrick. The family is accompanying the body to Sweetwater. Fitzpatrick, 64, treasurer of the Texas Nursery Company for the last 10 years, died Saturday night at his home here. Funeral services are to be held on Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, with burial in Nolan, Texas. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Carrie Fitzpatrick; one son, James B. Fitzpatrick of Sherman; one brother, Roy Fitzpatrick of Fresno, Cal.; one daughter, Mrs. Bolton Head of Sweetwater; two sisters, Mrs. Floy Howatt of St. Augustine, Fla., and Mrs. Maude Allen of Guthrie, Ky.
