From The Wolbach (Nebraska) Messenger, February 12, 1976, page 9, transcribed by Linda Berney: Killinger Rites in Minnesota - Ray Killinger, 71, Rt. 3, Sauk Rapids, Minnesota died February 2 at the Country Manor Nursing Home, Sauk Rapids, Minnesota. Mr. Killinger was born August 17, 1904, in Macedonia, Iowa to the late Mervin and Emma Killinger. He married Leila Fredricksen August 17, 1926 in St. Paul, Nebraska. They came to this area in 1937. She died February 10, 1944. He married Lucille Horton June 17, 1945 in Sauk Rapids and they have lived here ever since. Survivors include his widow; son Kenneth of Sauk Rapids; sister and brothers, Mrs. Edna Perlenfein, Mount Ayr, Iowa, Earl and Woodrow of Wolbach, and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers.
