Laurel Leader Call 20030605 HERMAN J. JORDAN Herman J. Jordan, 89, of Carriere, died Monday, June 2, 2003, at Shady Oaks Personal Care Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Jones Funeral Home Chapel in Ellisville. Burial will follow in Ellisville Cemetery. He was a member of Tula Rosa Methodist Church in Ellisville. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Sadie Jordan; and brothers, Lee Jordan and Burland Jordan. Mr. Jordan is survived by his wife, Eva Verl Jordan; son, Herman Larry (Deborah) Jordan; grandsons, Robert, Scott, Kevin, and Ross Jordan all of Carriere; two brothers, Calvin Jordan of Kennilworth, WA and Hiram Jordan of Ellisville; two sisters, Mavis Luby of Bedford, Va. and Veva Jewel Thompson of Cleveland, Tenn. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. today at Jones Funeral Home in Ellisville, which is in charge of the arrangements.
