Sam Frank Busa July 9, 1936 - May 23, 2016 Sam Frank Busa, 79, of Anderson, died Monday evening, May 23, 2016, at Cornerstone Hospital in Conroe. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5:30 - 7:00 pm Thursday, May 25, 2016, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 1511 Hwy 90, in Anderson with a parish rosary and vigil service beginning at 7:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00 am Friday, May 26, 2016, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church with Rev. Rodolfo "JoJo" Cal-Ortiz as the celebrant. The rite of committal will follow in St. Stanislaus Church Cemetery. Sam was born July 9, 1936 in Anderson to Henry and Cecilia "Sally" Pasket Busa, Sr. A lifelong resident of Anderson, Sam was a farmer and rancher. Sam enjoyed working in his garden, fishing, working his cattle as well as being a part of his church, St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Anderson. Sam was preceded in death by his parents, his second mother, Martha Podraza Busa; step son, Billy Ray Busa; brother, Henry Busa, Jr. and sister, Christine Sechelski. Survivors include his wife of nearly 25 years, Betty Busa of Anderson; step children, Bobby Joe Busa and wife Stephanie of Anderson, Barbara Ann Mosley of North Zulch and Beverly Kay Hayes and husband Thomas of Navasota; brother, Walter Busa and wife Francell of Trinity; sister, Cecilia Pasket and husband Typhil of Anderson; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; numerous other relatives and a great number of friends.
