Edwards ID: 37713335 Status: KIA Address - Larkspur, Lake County, Colorado Entered service - October 30, 1944 Branch of service - U.S. Army Infantry (32nd Infantry Division) Trained at - Camp Wolters, Texas; Fort Ord, California Embarkation - April 6, 1945 He was killed near Santa Fe, Luzon in the Philippine Islands on May 27, 1945. He was buried at Santa Barbara, Luzon A memorial to the Red Arrow Division was built in San Nicolas, Pangasinan, Philippines. It is inscribed, "Erected by the officers and men of the 32d Infantry Division United States Army in memory of their gallant comrades who were killed along the Villa Verde Trail 30 January 1945 – 28 May 1945".
