Bio
Audrey H. Bjornson Knudson, 74, Minot, died Tuesday, September 3, 1996, in a Minot nursing home. She was born August 25, 1922, in Colgan, to Gustav and Angeline Dreyer. She was raised and educated there before they moved to Minot in 1937. She graduated from Minot High School in 1941. She was once married to Hjalmer Bjornson. She began working for the Great Northern and Burlington Northern Railroad in 1946, retiring in the late 1970's. She married Sterling Knudson on November 28, 1981. They made their home near Minot. Sterling died February 16, 1991. Audrey was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Minot. Survivors include: sons, David Bjornson, Las Vegas, Nevada, Allen Bjornson, Minot; five grandchildren; sisters, Helga Garrison, Minot, Edith Thompson, Rosenberg, Texas; brother, Stanley, Sidney, Montana. Funeral services were held on Friday in the Zion Lutheran Church, Minot. MINOT DAILY NEWS, Thursday, September 5, 1996, page B3, column 3.
