Joe Newby and Rev. E.M. Fjordbak offficiating. Burial will be in Forest Park Cemetery. Mrs. Cherry died at her home Tuesday. She was born April 5, 1902 in Commerce to John Eli and Docia Jane Sutton Blankenship. She was a member of Wesley St. Assembly of God Church. Survivors are her step-mother, Mrs. J.E. Blankenship of Wolfe City; a son, J.E. Banks of Greenville; a daughter, Mrs. Helen Reid of Midland; two sisters, Mrs. Vera Pendlason and Mrs. Florence Daugherty of Dallas; five grandchidlren (sic) and four great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Joe Williams, Bob Byrd, Glen Steed, M.J. Hamilton, Bill Thompson and Hewitt Moseley.
