Stephenville - Carl Michael Bittenbinder, 96, a farmer, was born in Mott, North Dakota on December 28, 1919 to Mike Bittenbinder and Eva (Hubert) Bittenbinder. He married Violet Hatzenbuhler on June 9, 1941, in Dickinson, North Dakota. He was a member of St. Brendan's Catholic Church, and a member of the Knights of Columbus. Survivors include his wife, Violet (Hatzenbuhler) Bittenbinder of Stephenville, children; David Bittenbinder and wife, Shirley of Stephenville, Dennis Bittenbinder and wife, Carol of Fayetteville, Ark., Keith Bittenbinder of Stephenville, Sandy Jacobs of Grand Island, NE., Carla Luptak and husband, Dennis of Lancaster, CA., Sheila Hinnant and husband, David of Tulsa, OK., 10 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, brother: Frank Bittenbinder of West Pueblo, CO. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mike and Eva Bittenbinder, his sisters; Rose Goetz, Polly Lokken, and his brother; Joe Bittenbinder.
