The Bonham Daily Favorite Bonham, Texas Sunday, 01 Sep 1974 Jessie Cotham Dies, Services Set for Sunday RANDOLPH - Jesse D. Cotham, 89, prominent Randolph area retired farmer, died at 9:40 o'clock Saturday morning, Aug. 31, 1974, in a Bonham nursing home. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon, 2 o'clock, at the Randolph Baptist church with the Rev. O. R. Carry and the Rev. A. C. Lyles officiating. Burial will be in Randolph cemetery under direction of Wise Funeral home. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Mr. Cotham was born Dec. 1, 1885, at Edhube, His wife, Ada, preceded him in death Jan. 30, 1965. He is survived by five daughters, Mrs. A. C. Lyles of Hatfield, Ark., Mrs. Burgher Davis of Plano, Mrs. Theodore Vinson of Leonard, Mrs. J. A. Davis of Sherman and Mrs. Billy Wilson of Madill, Okla.; one brother, Dan Cotham of Littlefield; one sister, Mrs. Mamie Howell of Bonham; 14 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren. A son, J. B. Cotham of Bonham preceded him in death.
