Miller (death certificate) The 1870 census recorded Katie York, 7, living on a farm in Colorado County, Texas, with father Calvin York, 55, mother Martha, 45, and other York children. he 1900 census recorded Kate Haynie, born Feb. 1867, living in Bastrop County, Texas, with husband Henry Haynie, son Joseph, born Nov. 1895, and daughter Velma, born Feb. 1884. Husband Henry was a minister. The 1910 census recorded Kate Haynie, 40, living in Elgin, Bastrop, Texas, with son Joseph, 14. The 1920 census recorded Kate Miller, 54, living in Elgin, Bastrop, Texas, with husband James C. Miller, 52, son Joseph K. Haynie, 24, and stepsons: Jesse C. Miller, 20; and Cecil R. Miller, 16. Husband James was a furniture dealer. The 1930 census recorded Kate Miller, 65, living in Elgin, Bastrop, Texas, with husband James Miller, 62, and son Joseph K. Haynie, 34.
