Bio
Wanda Pruitt Ramsey, age 80, of Princeton, Texas, passed away May 15, 2016. She was born October 21, 1935, in Paducah, Texas to Sidney Lee and Ina Lou (Smith) Pruitt. On December 27, 1951, Wanda married Floyd Ray Ramsey in McKinney, Texas. She retired from Texas Instruments and Raytheon after 35 years of service. Wanda was devoted to her family and was a member of the Christian Church. She is survived by her children, Deborah Lou Yarnell and husband Bryan of Lone Oak, Texas, Pamela Lee Gardner and husband Rocky of McKinney, Texas, Hollie Diane Slattery and husband Ed of Batavia, Ohio, Cassia Rae Dingo and husband Johnny also of Batavia, Ohio; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; Brother, Sydney Mac Pruitt and wife Joan of Colorado Springs, Colorado; sister, Jimmie Wofford and husband Bill of Greenville, Texas. Wanda is preceded in death by her parents, Sidney Lee and Ina Lou Pruitt; husband, Floyd Ray Ramsey; and sister, Lavada Eubanks. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park.
